30 days to change your mind

You have 30 days from the day you (or someone you name) receive the goods to withdraw from your purchase, without giving a reason. That is longer than the 14 days EU law requires, and it applies to discounted orders as well.

How to withdraw

Tell us before the 30 days are over. The easiest way is our return request form; you can also e-mail contact@handsfreedryer.com with your order number, or use any other clear statement. You may use the EU model withdrawal form, but you do not have to. We confirm receipt of your notice and send you the return address and instructions within one business day. Please wait for those instructions: parcels that arrive unannounced cannot be matched to an order.

After telling us, send the goods back by post to the address in our instructions, without undue delay and at the latest within 14 days.

Condition of the goods

Send the dryer back complete (dryer, folding tripod, wall mount, travel capsule and cable) in its original packaging. You may unpack and handle the product to establish its nature, characteristics, and functioning, as you would in a shop. You are only liable for any diminished value resulting from handling beyond that, and we may reduce your refund accordingly.

Cost of returning

If you withdraw because you changed your mind, you bear the direct cost of returning the goods; the exact cost is stated in the return instructions we send you. If the product arrived damaged, faulty or incorrect, we pay the return shipping, and you choose between a replacement and a refund. We do not charge a restocking fee.

Refunds

We refund all payments received from you, including the standard delivery cost where one was charged, without undue delay and no later than 14 days from the day we are informed of your withdrawal. We may withhold the refund until we have received the goods back, or until you supply proof that you have sent them, whichever comes first. We refund using the same means of payment you used, and you incur no fees for that.

Exceptions

The right of withdrawal does not apply to sealed goods unsuitable for return for health protection or hygiene reasons once unsealed, to goods made to your specifications or clearly personalized, or to gift cards. It does apply to sale and discounted items.

Faulty products: legal guarantee of conformity

Separately from the right of withdrawal, every product must be as described and work as it should. For two years after delivery, you can ask us to repair or replace a product that does not conform, and if that is impossible or disproportionate, you are entitled to a price reduction or to cancel the contract for a refund. This legal guarantee is free of charge and is not limited by any commercial guarantee. It does not cover normal wear, accidental damage, or use outside the manual. To claim, use the return request form or e-mail us your order number and a short description of the problem.
